Join Kelly Athena for an ethnobotanical tour through Sonoran Desert bean trees, including mesquite, paloverde and ironwood. Learn how to identify them, harvest their buds, blossoms, and beans, and prepare and store them. You will also receive recipes on how to use the beans as edamame, sprouts, snacks and tea. Dress comfortably, some walking in the Garden. Limit 15.
