Book Launch

It was harder to write the book description and author bio than it was to write the whole book.

And all the techie details can drive a person to the edge. ISBN's, LCCN's, BISAC's, copyrights, margins, gutters, layout.

Asking for help. Lots of it. Very important.
Feeling vulnerable.
  Feeling pressured by the little self.
  Hey, let's get this thing published—I ain't getting younger.

Then I remember Laura Ingall Wilder's first book launch. At age 63. Little House on the Prairie.
Relax.
  There's time . . . I'm timeless anyway.

So I finally got the book uploaded for the 9th time. After 9,999 revisions. Maybe my genre is: revisions.

I let all my friends know, "Hey, it's up there online for you to see. Grab a copy if you want to!"

The next morning I woke up, put on my robe and walked downstairs, flipped open my laptop.

#1 New Release it said on a banner beside my book listing.
OMG, it's really happening.
