Desert Willow
This is an example of different ways I will photograph each of the 224 plants. Horizontal, vertical, background with blue sky, background greenery softened with long lens effect, close-up views, medium range, and more so you have a full range of choices to fit your exact layout. I would also include full length photos of at least two different mature plants which I am not showing here.

I will include the plant list number, (and a dash with a second number counting the different photos of each plant), the common name, botanical name, date, and location.

18-1 Full length of 3-year-old Desert Willow (Chilopsis linearis)
Close-up of blossoms with background greenery blurred out to make the flowers stand out and be the focal point
Blossoms with beige background on bottom and green background on top in case your layout looked best with words on the bottom with a beige background
LANDSCAPES
I would like to capture landscapes for AMWUA more at the peak of the plants' blooming than these sample landscapes below.  Also, these photos were not taken during the ideal "sweet light" time of the day--early morning or late afternoon as I would plan for the AMWUA landscapes.  I am able to edit things in the photo such as darken a light rock, lighten a dark doorway, remove a telephone line, enhance the sky, etc., so the photo would look better but look completely natural.
